A remake of the 2001 film by Richard Linklater (who also executive produced this one), Tape is a testament how much you can get out of three persons in one room doing little more than talking if the script has an engaging story, the díalogue is poignant, the characters relatable – and played by a first class cast -, and the directorial effort is dynamic enough and tension and suspense oriented. And in this movie, all of this falls together rather handsomely, resulting in a piece of pretty awesome entertainment.
